how can i find the ip of the person who was chating with me.i mean the exact ip or detect that the two different id chating at the same time is one prson.
please help

Good question. My first idea would be a packet sniffer.
A tool that allows you to see the data as it is transmitted.
You're not interested in the data but it also reveals source
and destination addresses. I'm presuming however that
Yahoo chat has a client to client connection. I'm positive
that the file transfer and voice is client 2 client. I'm not
100% sure about text chat though. The idea might need
some fine tuning.

Not possible. The sessions go through Yahoo's chat servers.

It's entirely possible that there would be many users behind one NAT firewall and they would therefore all have the same public IP address as far as Yahoo was concerned so even if you knew the IP address it would not mean anything.
