You might as well castrate yourself.
My wife doesn't understand it. She is so upset that I get so turned on when she wears them that she has stopped and just wears pants.
She thinks I love her hosiery more than I love her.
This has put a massive crimp in our sex life.
So my advice to you is simply to find a lady that understands and will indulge you.

My wife has been very understanding about it, probably because I told her of my past where the fetish took on a masochistic quirk- where I'd get punished by women encasing my head, By me being sadisticly dominated by women, and then being faithfully married for 20 yrs. it has helped cure most of the fetish but my wife knows I still like looking at women's legs in shiny pantyhose and tights, she doesn't mind as long as I remain faithful, she knows I grew up with this and it may never completely go away, my advise is not to make it a priority..

A fetish is never cured, although it can be contained. As far as a pantyhose fetish is concerned, since there is nothing wrong with it, there is no need to try to "cure" it.

You can't "cure" any fetish. Fetishes are only a bad thing if they interfere with you living a normal life and/or you have an inability to acheive sexual satisfaction without it. Besides, a fetish for panythose is not a "bizzare" fetish by any means; a lot of guys have it and suprise suprise they are overwhelmingly hetrosexual. So go have fun with it.

I'm not sure you can. I have a similar problem as a chap above me, where my girlfriend has sort of refused to wear pantyhose / tights also, because I find them sexy. That is quite unfortunate for us because I love them so much. Perhaps wear them for a day under some jeans, and you'll get turned off by them? Good luck on that one.

you can mate - anyway its a lovelly fetish
either get loads of girls in pantyhose and keep your fetish
or
one way to stop liking them is to wear them yourself
- when you see what the girls have to go through to put them on you might lose interest
personally i think that that could make it more of a fetish
- i tried that and i love them more now!

You can't cure it. I have tried. I now shave my legs and keep my toes painted and wear panties, sheer pantyhose and a girdle to work under my jeans. I think it gets stronger not weaker and even has me doubting my gender
