I am thinking about it ..no implants because I have large breasts that are fairly firm but the problem they are a little too large and that makes them heavy. They are beginning to sag because of their weight. I just wanna lift.. how did your go and what are the scars like..thanks ;)

I had a breast lift with my reduction back in Feb '06 and I love it. I only wish I got it done sooner.

The scars are 90% nonexistant, you have to look real closely to see them. Most women use Scar Guard or Mederma or some other scar fading product to help the scars disappear.

Make sure you do a lot of research before choosing a doctor to do this for you.

A great site that helped me a lot is http://www.breasthealthonline.com . The information they have on their is vast and you can talk to other women who have had a breast lift.

A breast life and a breast reduction are basically the same surgery. The scars are around the nipple and one beneath the breast. Most women are very happy with the results but due to the nature of breast they still tend to sag with age.
I would get the lift if your breast are heavy and are uncomfortable.

I had one after my reduction. The scars can be pretty extensive, but it depends on the technique used by the surgeon. Usually they are anchor-shaped scars, going under the breast and up to the nipple.

Even with a lift (mastopexy), you can lose fullness in the upper part of the breast.

Talk to a plastic surgeon and get his/her opinion.

Sometimes all you need is a good bra.

Breast Lift surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift surgery in India by the company called Forerunners Healthcare .The Price for the surgery she paid in India was very less. She paid 30% of the cost she was quoted in America.

Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India. They arrange cosmetic and plastic surgery for foreigners in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as the breast reduction, tummy tuck, facelift and other cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

Hope this helps.
