I've never had many male friends, but the few guys I've befriended have all eventually made passes at, even my ex-best friend who happens to be a GAY guy! Is a platonic friendship between a man and a woman even possible? One of my best friends has tons of guy friends and I feel envious sometimes because she can get along with guys and keep it at a friend level. AND NO I’m not a flirt, or lead anyone on, for some reason my male friends that I've had in the past have always tried to take things further, and of course when I say no the friendship is over :(

Ok..here's the thing. Guys (unless they are strictly gay) will always be interested in more than friendly relationships with women they find attractive. It's just a fact of life. It's how the human race has survived. I don't know how it is that your friend has so many guy friends. I'd be willing to bet there's more to it than meets the eye though. Bottom line...they only way you're going to find a guy that you can be buddies with is if he:

A: Is strictly gay with no hint of bi-sexuality
B: Doesn't find you the least bit attractive
C: Is a close relative (but beware of that one...see Jerry Springer)
D: Is Blind (again beware...those guys see with their hands)

I don't want to let you think it's hopeless what you're looking for but come on...this is nature for goodness sakes.

i know it's not fair, but you gotta take it as a compliment. you must be a really sweet, kind, loving and attractive girl.. so good that guys all fall for you.

guess the thing that puzzles me, is, why don't you give them a chance? why not have a relationship? relationships are awesome.. there's nothing better than to feel loved and to love. go for it.

in case i am totally reading this wrong.. on the other hand, if these guys are only interested in sex (and not love or a relationship), then this is a sign that you are hanging around with the wrong type of guys..

You might be sending signals out subconsciously. And a guy will take a simple smile or wave and blow it way up.

How are you meeting the guys in your life? If you are meeting them where singles go to find dates then that could be a problem.

Don't be sad sweetie,
sometimes when your trying to make a new friend or be friendly to someone who just happens to be a guy he can take it the wrong way and think you're coming on to him! trust me I know from experience! just make it clear you only want to be friends and nothing more! hope it helps!

I thought it was possible but eventually you get a crush and bite and screw it up. After time, one of them wonders why the other hasn't hit on them, and makes a move themselves.
