Bored with life or bored with sex? (Or both?) If it's life, start trying things you always wanted to try. A sport, a hobby, travel. Maybe even move somewhere you've always wanted to live (if you can afford to move) and get involved with things (hobbies, activities) there.

Bored with sex, try things you always wanted to try. After 23 years of marriage you shouldn't be shy about bringing things like that up.

All the best!

Go on a second honeymoon if you can afford it. Start doing some things that you used to enjoy doing together when you first met. Even joining a group together that your both interested in would be nice and give you an outlet to meet new acquantainces and subjects to talk about. Or each join different groups and discuss what has happened when you return home. 23 years is a long time and very natural to possibly grow a little stale with one and other but you two must be best friends and as such need to need to communicate very well and honestly. Try something new and old and realize that your relationship is as normal as all married people.

Some one else suggested it, but looking into a swingers group "can be" a reasonable idea. If you have a strong marriage, except the boredom, then it can be an added aspect to the marriage. If you have a bad or not so good marriage, it will not help. It will only speed the divorce. BUT, should you decide to try it, look into the different groups in your area. Any city of more than 1000 has at least one. Get one that has an orientation session and a newbies night. Go to the orientation session and ask any question you want - they have heard them all and won't be offended. If it is something that does not repulse you entirely, give it a whirl. Also, one thing to remember - she who has the p***y makes all the rules. Yes means yes and no means no - even to your husband. They do take that seriously and do enforce it - at least the better groups do. Good luck.

You should save up some money and suprise your wife with a vacation. Maybe go to jamaica, or go on a cruise. I think it would be wonderful, and a romantic fun time. And other than that, find new hobbies. Start traveling, like camping or something. Maybe find something that you've always loved to do, just never got around to it. Good Luck, i'm happy to hear that you have been married for so long, and trying to do something so you can remain happily married.

Try traveling together, getting into activities together, anything new together...Maybe you both are always doing the same routine for 23 yrs. And it's time to try something new.

Try new things. Do this in all things you do. Get out of the rut and go do things that both of you wanted to and never done.

Get innovative! Buy some sexual games and add alittle role play. If that doesn't work go to a swingers party!
