I would suggest watching a Mary J. Blige video.... Seriously... I love doing make-up. I am going to school for it. The best thing to do is to study. Study other people who you admire and want to try and duplicate a look. It doesn't have to be exact. You can add your own twist to things once you get going. Mary uses a lot of gold, shimmery, shadows. She always seem to use a dark chocolate or some type of plum in the crease. Don't forget to shimmer the brow bone with a light shimmery color. Also, the key to perfect eyes is the eyebrows. Make sure they are shaped correctly to dislay your arch.

I have hazel eyes, and like yours, they tend to look more brown than hazel. To make the green in your eyes pop try applying pink or purple eyeshadow to your lids (lightly.) Then use a tan or light brown shadow over that. It looks beautiful. (Make sure not to over apply or use super bright colors. It will create a clownish effect.) Then use a little mascara and/or brown eyeliner to your upper lids (not too much) and...voila! Perfect eyes!

i have hazel eyes and i wear brown
To be specific i wear Rimmel London Duo Eye Shadow (color: walnut pearls) it may seem real dark but it isn't. u have to apply it a couple times before it gets dark. i usually use the lighter color to even out the darker one.
Good luck!!!!!!!!!

brown, apricot, purple, plum, deep khaki or forest green
are all really good for hazel or green eyes so try those colors and see which one makes your eyes sort of pop out.

If you want your eyes to really pop, you need to use complimentary colours (colours that are opposite each other on the colour wheel.) Dark purples will make them look more amber, and copper tones will make them look more green. Have fun!
