The term "black:" witch really is a myth. In magick there is no such thing as a "black" or a "white" witch (although most people do believe this notion).

Another, more acceptable term for "black" witch is "following the left-hand path", which simply means that you dabble in negative (or dark) magick. All other witches' who practice Wicca (which is considered good or "white" magick) help all animals, the universe, the earth, and for the betterment of all people.

You see, magick is magick - it's like anything else. It all depends on which way you want to use magick (for the betterment of all, or for selfish purposes). Anyone can use magick for either good or bad. It's basically the same as if you want to be a "good/nice" person or a "bad/nasty" person. Magick knows no color boundaries.

Have a lovely rest of the evening. Bright Blessings.

Black witches (covens) are mostly an invention of people who wanted to condemn people, mostly old women or people who were unpopular or in the way for some reason, by accusing them of consorting with the Devil to do harm. However, celebrating Black Masses and all the other rituals, costume, and magickal equipment have been featured prominently with intricate detail by Hollywood, so anybody can imitate the ideas and call themselves black witches and form a coven if they want to. Many bored people who don't fit in with their community may do this in order to create mischief or worse. It's hard to tell where real spirituality ends and Hollywood begins, but there have been real crimes committed by people who call themselves Satanists or black witches and covens.

What do you mean by black witches? A gathering of witches for religious purposes is called a coven. That doesn't make them evil or "black".

go searching, Witches are everywhere. basically because they don't bypass round wearing pointy hats and journey a brush, does not propose they don't exist. i'm a (non-wiccan) witch, who will gown in stereotypical witch dressings for Halloween, too. i hit upon it relaxing. savour being a witch-for-a-day :)

I suppose they can. But what really matters is the heart of the magician. Even the best witch has the ability to do harm, wether it be intentional or not. The law of the universe is complicated. Some may even think they are "helping" someone, but by interfering with ones free will, you are actually "harming" them.

I think black people are more into hoodoo and Voodoo (spelling varies)-type religions. Santeria, Candomble, stuff like that.

Witches (Wicca/Pagan) are generally white, though I guess you could be a black Witch if you wanted to be.

That wasn't what you were asking, was it?

Of course. While there is good in this world, there will be evil. You can't really have one without the other.

I use to practise black magic. I use to be Wicca, but I had too many problems with the craft, so I got covered in the blood. I had a friend who levitated a car and it came over to him and fell on him, killing him. I was having some problems with demons in Panama, in my house. Both my housekeeper and I could not get rid of them. I tried a protection spell and she tried voodoo, both did not work. I cursed someone and as the saying goes, if a person is not worthy of the curs, it comes back to the witch, threefold. So now I am cursed, still to this day. I believe Christians when they say that the magic is of Satan and not from nature, as a Wiccan would have you believe. To answer your question, a gay female got me into the craft. She tried to tell me that two gay witches were the most powerful. i got into the darkside of it because I was tired of the demonic force in my house.

Probably. I was in a cabal once, so it's entirely possible.
