To Tugba: if we always lose, how come we are a free state? We must have won at some point. so history doesn't show what you say.
Second, your grammar and spelling shows that at least on matters of education and culture we win throughout history. So don't brag about who won the Survivor, it's not suxh an important event.
To the question now: I am also sad Amficratis lost, not because he was Greek, but I didn't like Derya. I preferred Selim. About the whole thing being "set up", I don't suppose it could have been as la mel says, because there would have been objections from the players, there is money at stake. However, the games were chosen so that Amficratis would win the first and Derya the second, in order to reach the third game. It is not by accident that these were games played before, and they knew who was better at them. Also, the game was manipulated in order to have two semifinals and have the audience vote, to get money.

It was a good game and both deserved winning. However there had to be one winner. Although I like most of the both teams players, as being Turkish I am very happy with the result.

Guys,it was a TV Show and just a game. I really don't understand why it turns to be which country is better. There were individuals there and I really enjoyed the whole program.

Bravo Derya!
I am very happy that Derya won the game. He was the oldest member of the Turkish team (he is 45 years old) and yet managed to finish it at the first place. a true survivor.

I always supported Teymuralp though. he was the strongest guy of all. but it was really good to see him also supporting Derya like that during the final. I think either Teymur or Selim would have won the game as well if they wouldn't have been voted off.

cheers :)
Ayse

ps. to la mel : nothing was fake in the game. it is really absurd to think like that LOL :))

Lol. Derya is a very confident person. And I think Derya needed the money more than Amfrikatis.

And I think the money or the winner isn't important. This race made a bridge between two countries ;-)

But of corz I'm happy for Derya's winning as a Turk :-)

I was wondering why the had to go so far as Argentina to play penalties. If there was a tango contest I would understand. So many nice places in Turkey and Greece. They could play one game here one game in turkey nd the 3rd in Italy or some place. they just wasted so much money for nothing, they could give to charity.

Amfikratis was one of the players I liked, so I would have liked him wining, but that is on individual basis, has nothing to do with the whole "Greece vs Turkey" thing. My fav. players were Nadya & Selim so surely I would have liked one of them in the final.
As far as Derya is concerned, he managed to "survive" so well done!!!
