Enough said. I would like a vivid description of it, it's meaning, ships possinly, members, what it does, where its at and anything else possibly given. Remember, you're speaking to someone who knows as far in as the title to Star Trek.

The above, and this, is the only way I could find to respond to the question, so note this and the above do not matter. And, I would like for no other people to respond to it now, it'll fill up my e-mail box...

I believe UFP would stand for the United Federation of Planets, more commonly called simply "The Federation". This includes earth (actually, our entire solar system), as well as Vulcan, and a bunch of others who are friendly to earth/humans. (See the link below for more details.)

Quote from the official site:

"United Federation of Planets
Episode: TNG 217 - The Outcast

Founded in 2161, the United Federation of Planets is an interstellar alliance of more than 150 planetary governments, spread out over 8,000 light-years. Members of the Federation are united in various endeavors involving trade, exploration, science and defense. The Federation is overseen by the Federation Council, which is comprised of representatives from member planets. The Council meets in San Francisco on Earth and is led by the Federation president, based in Paris. "
