I am a first generation scot with a young family how do i register as a clan?

I don't see how that's possible, but I'll give you the website for our local organization (Scottish American Society of South Florida) www.sassf.org- maybe they can steer you in the right direction or hook you up with your existing clan.

You can contact the Lord Lyon, but I doubt that he will agree to register you as a 'new' clan. Your ancestry isn't Scottish, so I don't see how can you be part of the ancient clan system?
