Is Storm (Ororo Munroe from X-Men) a possible Omega-Level mutant? I mean, she controls the weather right? And she can attune herself to any weather condition of any planet. What do you guys think?

I never really liked the way Marvel measures their mutants because Storm (in my humble opinion) could destroy the planet if she wanted to.

Her ability to control the weather could potentially cause catastrophic natural disasters that would be felt across the globe, so...

If you want to get more info on Storm or any of the X characters, you can go to:

www.uncannyxmen.net for complete bios on nearly every character that has come out on the pages of the X books
www.writeups.org for VERY accurate RPG character stats on many characters from Marvel, DC, movies and TV shows if you like to play games.

Enjoy.

yep storm has been shown in possible timelines specially in the twelve as having the ability to become an elemental that is a being of pure energy, so she may becme omega as this is part of therequirements to being omega, she´s also becoming mre powerful and the full extent as to how he weather powers affect earth and other planets has never been clarify so she has limitless potential already the other requirement for being omega. Right now the only walking omegaleveltant on earth is iceman, and he wasn´t top ten in mutants power till his powers were redesigned and he overcome mental blockage, this can happen to many mutants already (even though scarlet witch was never stated as omega we can easily see her as one who aso started out weak for lack of control and understanding of her own powers) Actually from my point of wiew rogue would be the best omega mutant since she can absorb them all (instead of just being the best one in) and used to be able to replay powers ability that make synch (dead now) to be statedas omega post mortum Search for omega level n wikipedia to find a full list

Storm is very powerful, she is/was one of the twelve(not sure if all the twelve still have their powers now due to M day), but not omega-level. she can not alter the entire planet's eco-system just small areas. she can attune herself to any weather condition of any planet but that doesn't mean she can control it. read unlimited x-men 1 it explains Ororo's second sight and how her powers work. and the more sever the ecosystem is that she trys to controls it could hurt her because she is not immune to it!

Agreed. I think that Ororo is definitely more powerful then even Jean Grey or Professor X. She can attune the weather to suit her needs without being negatively affected herself. With that kind of power, she could control the world.

i would say storm could and is one of the top level mutants, she would be considered a weather "god", so yes whe would be up there. heck she took on dracula, beyonder, and many others and won.

HECK YEAH! Storm is more of a threat that Jean Grey, or anybody when she's in state of her claustrophobia (fear of close spaces). She could wipe out the whole planet, if u bury her alive.
