The best thing you can do is educate people and set a good example. Many of the perceptions of America are based in some truth, though often a distorted one. Through your experiences here you can find many examples of good Americans doing good things, and you can tell people about it. Also, try to reflect the good things you experience here in your own actions as well. This will show people that there is more to America than bombers and greedy corporations. Good luck!

Their is in my mind a huge difference between the American people and the American government. To the world it is the government they preceive as American as what is American. Their is not much you can do to disprove people's ideas, as an American the only thing I can do is live my life on a path of respect to the earth, others, and myself.

Give them a one way ticket to Iraq. They will find out about terrorists and find a quick way to pay for their own flight back.
