I am not interested in or trying to get pregnant but I want to know if it is okay for me to take prenatal vitamins...

I have been getting quite a few colds lately so I am trying to take more vitamins- I have put myself on Vitamin C and was told that prenatal vitamins are great vitamins to take whether you are pregnant or not.

I just want to make sure it is okay or not.

Prenatal Vitamins are a great way to get all the you need. But, if you are looking to have a better intake of anything in particular, compare the prenatal with other multi vitamins. You may find for example if you want to increase C that another vitamin will give you everything the prenatal will but with higher levels of C.

The vitamins are safe for all. But, as with any OTC item, if in doubt talk to your pharmacist or doctor.

Yes prenatals are fine for any woman to take. I have many friends that take them to make their hair grow.

I had my son in September and i still take my pre-natal vitamins, my Dr said that continuing to take them after would be fine. Taking them pregnant or not won't hurt you and will probably help your hair and nails grow lol.

Actually in todays's society it is not a lack of nutrition that is a problem but too many toxins. For the quickest way to get over a cold or the flu see site below. Also explains how to avoid getting them ever, what do colds have to do with cold weather, are colds good for health?

There isn't real reason to take any vitamins if you not shure what kind of and how much of it your body really needs. Take a simple blood test and make shure that you really need extra vitamins in your diet.

I'm no doctor but I don't see the harm. However, you should call your doctor or local health dept and talk to someone to find out for sure.
