It is 4" pipe that is approximately 35 years old. And no, using a chisel and hammer is not an option nor is calling a plumber.

I would probably try some penetrating oil and pipe wrench. If that doesn't work get a blow torch and heat up the cast iron around the drain plug but not the actual drain plug. This should expand the threads in the cast iron but not the brass plug and should turn out.
