At this point the only sure way to know is with a blood test...home pregnancy tests may not be accurate, even the ones that say you can test early. The percentage of accuracy on them is lower the further you are from your missed period day.

Not very. In order for a hpt to work, there has to be baby hormones in your urine. I think it's hcg level. Anyways, if you're only pregnant 9 days, that hormone hasn't even begun to get in your urine and so the test would be innacurate. The earliest you can test is 4 days before your missed period and that doesnt mean that the hormone is enough that it would register on a hpt. Best bet is to wait until after the missed period.

They can be pretty accurate. If it is a positive test, then I would see a doctor. If negative, wait 1 or 2 more weeks, and take another. Good luck!

Not very if you think you got pregnant nine days ago due to the fact the the egg with the sperm takes 7 - 10 days to travel it's journey and plant itself in the uterus so it's likely the hormone is not showing up yet. I would way until 14 days.

Blood tests that early are the most accurate.
