Or do I have to be a military leader?
I'm willing to shell out a large sum of money for a spectacular send off so my funeral will be covered by the international media.

Hi.... you wouldnt be able to get a state funeral.. its for important people.... then again I dont know who you are..you might be an important person?????? Who are you? would we know you in the press if you were publicly announced as dead?

Money cant always buy you everything you want.. including a state funeral..sorry!! However you could have just as good send off with the same style as a state send off.. if you plan now.. you will be well on your way to a spectacular send off... dont forget to invite me to the party

No. The international media isn't going to care about you. Anyway, in the U.S. only Presidents are entitled to a state funeral, unless the sitting President declares the person can have one.
