Silver and grey eyeshadow would look nice, but if you did smokey eyes in a deep plum it would really make your blue/green eyes pop. If you go to www.smashbox.com it will give you step by instructions on how to do a smokey eye. Good luck!

Hi, for a smokey look your best with a pencil eye liner - they look better when smudged but you can do it with a liquid liner, all you do is on you top lashes, start the line from where your eyelashes start on the inside - DO NOT start from the very corner, then just work your way out make sure when you start the line it's thin and gets slightly thicker and then as your getting to the outer corners thin the line again also let the line go out slightly more then your eye do the same with your bottom lashes except make sure the line stays thin and DO NOT put any eyeliner on the inner part the liquid will just run into your eyes! next take your eyeshadow, put a tiny dab on the inner corners to make your eyes even out then just put a bit over your eyelids - not too much though, to finish off put a dab just under your eyebrows on the outer side, it will open your eyes. Have fun!

1. Liquid eyeliner sucks. go for a soft pencil in deep purple, silver, gray, or black.
2. Try a mix of lavender and silver... i know it sounds weird, but lavender brings out the green in your eyes. the silver will make it smokier.
3. Start with the eyeliner, then do the deepest color possible right next to it, gradually fading out to very light at the bottom of the brow.
4. If you don't like it, wipe it off, and try again.
5. Ask someone to help you out
6. If you take this many steps you are pathetic and I suggest you go to cosmotology school.

Hi i have tried thias so many times and get is so wrong, and i think it will take loads of practise to get it how you want it as you only have a few days to profect it, i think it may be best as it new years eve treat yourself and go to a salon and ask them to do it for you. Then watch how they do it. Im sure they wont mind if you just pop in and say would they be able to do your eye make up in the smokey eye effect for you for new years eve, they will probably book you in. The last thing you need is to be stressed out and annoyed when you dont get it right and then you will end up with your eyes the size of balloons from not getting it right and having to keep taking the make up off your eyes. So just relax and let the professionals do it and get some tips.

put silver eyeshadow on the bottom part of the lid and put the gray one near your eyebrow, then use a black eyeliner to make the line on top near your eyelash, for a more dramatic effect smudge the eyeliner with a sponge. Have Fun ;)

YOu need to buy a charcoal colored eyeshadow. You will take that shadow and smudge it on your lower lid and crease of your eyelid. Then take the silver eyeshadow and apply it right under the brow. Take big blush brush ( make sure it is clean with no other make up on it) and lightly brush over your eyelids you want to marry the crease (black) with the brow( silver) so that there is a smooth transition from black to silver. Add double extend mascara and you are on your way!!

Ask for a make-over at The Body Shop; it's usually free if you book in advance and they do a grand job. They will give advice on both makeup and skin care, and will help you find the look you want that suits you without hours of messing around.

eyeliner as close to your upper lashes as you can. remember to do a little flick at the corner of your eye!
use a kohl eyeliner for your lower lashes.
sliver all over the socket and grey just on the lid.
practice makes perfect with this look so keep trying!
brown shadows might actually look better.
