The Game SIMS 2?

ok so i got the new sims 2 game and well it is really slow and i was wondering how could i make it speed up =--~(

Its for PC and I have the right kind of computer its an XP/ME
What should i do???????????????

Im not trying to speed up the day either i mean the game is slow on loading and making people on EVERYTHING

If it's for PS2 you speed things up by pushing the L1 button once or twice to change the speed. If all of your controllable Sims are either sleeping or at work, you can fast-forward in triple time too.

Sims 2 requires a lot of memory, and a good graphic card. If you don't have one, Sims 2 will constantly lag on your computer, making it really slow. The best way to deal with this problem is to check the Sims 2 game box for the system requirements, and then check your own computer's requirements. Most likely, you'll need a better graphic or memory card so the only way to solve the problem is to go upgrade your computer.

more ram at least 1 gig - check video card specs - if you have an intergrated video card Sims 2 does not like it - you will need to spend money on ram and a decent video card. Check the tech help at the Sims 2 web site BBS

I have never experienced that. Maybe if you've downloaded something that wasn't derived from Maxis, that would slow it down. Other times, you may need to uninstall and reinstall.
I have all the Sims 2's and expanisions, and it has always speed up for me :o)

THERE SHOULD BE A BUTTON THAT YOU CAN HOLD AND IT WILL MAKE THE DAY GO BY FASTER LOOK AT YOUR MENU TO FIND THAT BUTTON AND YE SHALL SEE.
