In extreme cases engine oil getting into the cylinders by worn out rings, or worn out valve seals.. could cause sparkplugs to misfire within thirty days from being clogged with motor oil.

Anything is possible. I had a set of Champions go bad on a 4 cylinder engine. One went bad within 5 minutes of installation. The other 3 went bad in about 20 miles of driving.
I bought a new chainsaw, the Champion plug in it went bad when cutting down the first tree.

not likely, there is most likely something wrong with the installation or engine, if you have an aluminum engine, they should have been intalled with anti-sieze compound. Spark plugs need to be gapped properly (meaning the spacing of the gap must match what your cars manufactuer specifies). or you may have a leak that is making them go bad (or foul). have it checked out by a competent mechanic.

Dear Sparky,

Unless you bought platinum plugs they must be gaped. There is a specification like.035 and there is a sparkplug gap tool. If u bought plugs that needed to be gapped and you didn't gap, the car will not run well if at all. What is your car doing or not doing?

If they were improperly installed, or were the wrong type, yes.
If your vehicle has bad rings, spark plug wires, distributor cap, rotor, or injectors, that can also damage or foul the plugs.
