I have trouble looking pretty.(Not saying I'm ugly) I want to get some attention from the boy I like in school. But my parents are not rich. So I have to be simple. With only plain clothes and a little bit of jewelry, I need to find a way to attract peoples attention.HELP!!!

Getting attention is more about self confidence and liking yourself than about what you are wearing.
Be neat and clean, keep your hair off your face and your head up. Use excellent posture at all times. Look people in the eye. Smile and be agreeable when warranted, but don't be afraid to speak your opinion firmly and politely if you disagree.
Keep your clothes and jewelry simple and clean, you want people to notice YOU, not your clothing. If you are old enough for makeup, a little eyeliner and lipstick, but just barely a little, again you want people to notice you, not your makeup.
If you get nervous or feel uncomfortable, remember that people can't see how you feel, they can only see the outside. A trick that will get you through difficult moments and help you learn poise - learn to conciously relax your body and breath a little slower and deeper if you feel stressed - do it so no one notices. Practice this at home - the relaxing your body will make you look more relaxed and the breathing deeply will actually force your body to relax. This has gotten me through many an uncomfortable meeting or situation with poise and now I do it automatically in moments of stress.

a winning personality will always attract attention. If you are outgoing have a good sense of humor and always conduct yourself like a lady nobody will have anything bad to say about you. Confidence is very attractive in any person. as far as clothes go...you don't have to have a lot of money to make yourself look nice. Take time in the morning to do your hair, put on a dab of make-up(not too much , that can look trashy, especially at a young age) and wear clean, crisp clothes. belts, purses, scarves etc go a long way. so do shoes. you can wear the same outfit anyday but when you change your shoes it makes it very different.

When I'm going out but don't have a lot of money to fancy myself up I do it real simple: I put a little colored lip gloss along my lips and put clear chapstick on top which makes your lips look really pretty. Follow that with just a little mascara on your top lashes and it'll be a real simple eye-catcher. I figure, less is more - if he is attracted to you, no make-up in the world will change that, but if you're just aiming to get his eyes to drift your direction, that'll do the trick! ;)

I think if you carry yourself right and have a smile on your face that helps.
If you are thinking more on the outer appearance. Light make-up is helpful, styling your hair, and plain clothes are what I like. Its not the clothes, its the person that gets people's attention.

Just be the person you really are and a guy will like you for you. Be confident in yourself, and carry yourself well. If your a really nice girl it won't matter that you don't have the fanciest clothes. If he likes you he's going to like you for you. Don't do anything extra to get people's attention because you don't have to. Being who you really are is all that you need.

Clothes don't have to be designer to look great. It's all about accesories! Try adding a few beaded necklaces to your look, maybe a braclet to match. Example: For new years, try wearing red or blue top, white pants or capris, and blue or red necklaces or braclets! It looks hot, doesn't LOOK cheap, and best of all, it ALWAYS works on guys. And don't think people won't like you 'cuz you aren't rich. It doesn't matter. Just be who you are and people will love you newayz. :)

Put up your hair in a way that is cute but somthing you like half pony tails are cut because they leave hair down and pull the hair out of your face if you are able to wear make up that helps but to be yourself is the best way

do u have a curling iron?well if u do curl ur whole hair. spray hair spray on and wha-la u r a cutie.now ur clothes um do u have a miniskirt{that is pink or any color}or capris well if u do put that on and a tank top that is white with sparkles{optional}or simpler, a cute t-shirt that is ur favorite.and 4 the shoes..............um u can wear tennishoes.or flip-flops earings u can wear ur best pairs jewely any thing that ur mom has that u think is pretty

You know how some girls put their hair up in the back of their heads using sticks? Do that, then put on a nice skirt and not an overly fancy but nice top, a bracelet, a necklace, and your good to go
Some nice shoes would be perfect with that...NO SNEAKERS! Just something nice...but not ratty

Just be yourself.
General hygeine... shower, try your hair, brush your teeth, wash your face.. if you have make up--natural beauties are the most beautiful. A little eye liner, a little shadow, some concealer if needed, maybe some blush but only if your face needs it, and you know... ditch the lip stick and just wear a nice gloss.
But be yourself.
