If ibuy a new Virgin phone can I put an old Virgin SIM in it?

Yes definitely. However if the phone you had last was quite old and the new phone then the sim card may not be able to do some of the things a newer simcard would.

Yes, no problem. I think you can also put a t-mobile sim in there as Virigin buy their airtime from t-mobile.
