Hi, Im stuck what to wear on new years eve, so maybe someone can give me ideas of what to wear by letting me know what there outfit is. Im going to a pub as they are haveing a disco/kareoke as they do on new years eve, so far my oufit looks to be my new pink halter neck top, and black pants, with wedge shoes. Does this sound ok. I dont know weather i should dress down. Or as its new years eve dress up.
Any ideas will be hugely appreciated. Thanks

You should be pleased with yourself! You've hit 'fashion' on the head. Pink is HOT off the catwalk for Spring and wedges...well - they are HOT HOT HOT! As for Black pants? They would be just fine and they'll save you the dry cleaning bill after you've had four pints of lager spilt over you in the New Years Eve cheer!! Have a great evening and remember - dressing up is fun! We don't often get to do it any more and the older you get - the less you'll do it! Have fun NOW!

I say dress up! Every New Year's, no matter how broke I am, I go out and buy something new...something flattering that feels special. I usually head out to Forever 21 or the sale rack at Macy's - the clothes are made pretty cheaply but work for one night. This year I'm deciding between wearing a knee-length, low cut, flowy red dress with knee high black boots, or a pair of cream capris, a black halter and black pin up heels, and super sparkly jewelry. Who cares if you're dressier than everyone else? Chances are, someone will be more dressed up than you, and if not, they'll all wish they looked like you anyway! Hope this helps and have a great new year's celebration!

I think a halter nech top is too cold. Pink will make you look like a chav. wedges were ok in the Summer, but that's gone. Wear some sparkle, silver and black, stilettos and a diamante hair slide. You've got to look special. This is a once a year occasion. Sparkle and put on the glitz.

Definately dress up for such an occassion, its shocking how many people don't make an effort these days when they do out and just wear usual day clothes, most of them look scruffy, I usually wear black trousers with a nice sparkly top, nothing too flashy though or an oriental/chinese style dress sometimes over black trousers or without wearing high black boots,it depends on your preference, your suggestion sounds fine, its not over-the-top at all just smart so go for it!

Jehovah's Witnesses do no longer celebrate New Years simply by fact the celebrations originate with worship of pagan gods. besides, new years is often linked with heavy eating, something else that Jehovah's Witnesses do no longer take section in. As on your acquaintances, that's conceivable that they simply had acquaintances over provided that human beings many times have injury day from paintings at New Years. besides the undeniable fact that, i can not communicate for them, and anybody could answer for their very own movements.

I think your outfit sounds very appropriate. Though, I have a tendency to really dress up on New Years Eve just to make it extra special. My friends and I are going to a restaurant, and we have all decided to dress up, so even if the other patrons aren't dressed up, we will all be together. I suppose it depends on if your group of friends enjoys dressing up. Mine does, so we like to find opportunities to do so.

ok first off, i'll tell you might outfit. i'm wearing a seafoam green tunic with an interesting knotted neckline, with gold flecks, blask leggings, and gold pointed flats. next, i'll attempt the dress down question-- i always find myself overdressed, and lately my way to overcome it has been to weara fairly casual yet presentable top under a dressier jacket or sweater or whatever, and pants that go either way like black slacks or dark-wash jeans, and some in-the-middle shoes. hope that helps a little!
