It's not the Politicians who are disagreeable, but the supporters. The politico's all seem to get along just fine. Just look at how well Bush 41 and Clinton have been lately, and when Clinton was President. You don't have to agree on issues to like a person.

No. Civility has died with him. More on the Republican side than the Democratic; but the Dems have set up their own nasty retorsion, and there's no surprise there: it's human nature and optimal political strategy once the parties moved away from the center. Where both were happily sited for a hundred years or so.
