Home users have 10mbps. I bet the millitary is ultra wide bandwith. can anyone confirm with links / authority what the actual speed connection is that they use?

you need to be more specific with your question.

which base? which building? which installation? it differs everywhere. any permanent facility will have at least a T1 connection from 15 mbps on up.

the CIA headquarters has over 5 gbps

In Europe, there are brodband speeds that are typicaly up to 100mbps, and in some countries you can apparently get theme to 600mbps

it all depends on where they are and what they do.

the average soldier statined in a stateside unit wont get incredibly fast internet. some posts still have dial up connections for some places. but places like the Pentagon have really high speed connections for jobs that need them.
