Using a face cleaner everyday, like I do, can really dry out your face. I haven't found any face washes that DON'T do this, so I think it might just happen because your skin is sensitive like mine. I use neutrogena face wash but I follow it up by using Dove facial moisturizer. This was the only solution I found to my face wash drying out my skin!

Okay I know this sounds crazy but it works great on my skin and removes make-up...discovered when I was pregnant. Huggies Extra Sensitive wipes...not kidding. Use them to wipe your face down...I always have a dry, flaky patch on my forehead and NOTHING else works...so you can imagine my surprise when I used one while I was pregnant to cool me down. The patch was magically gone! Give it a go, can't hurt. Actual cleaner though (soap) I use Cetaphil and it works well too but I usually use a wipe afterwards to ensure no dry patches...lol. Congrats and best luck!

A dime size drop of Virgin Olive Oil, in your hand and gently rub it into your face in an upward motion.
In other words from your jaw line up.
Never rub your facial skin downward..... gravity does enough of that!

Do Not use WITCH HAZEL!!! that is an astringent and will further dry out your skin!

When *my* mother was pregnant she used Clearasil Wipes, and said they worked. Twelve years later, they'v improved.

There's a good one that comes in an orange box...it actually works. During my period I get Mega-Acne, and when I use these my face becomes clear after about two days.

Happy Holidays!

You should consider building up your skin. Try taking a fish oil supplement, an Omega 3. It needs to be relatively good quality or you will taste it, tasting means it's rancid. Not only will it make your skin better but your baby smarter.

I use cleansing products from this company called DHC (www.dhccare.com). Their products are wonderful and contain many natural ingredients. I have two kinds of rosacea and I've found products from them that are sensitive enough for my skin.

Dove soap is the best, I have sensitive and dry skin and I use this all the time.

Also a moisturizer will help after you wash your face.

good luck, and congratulations!
