NewYorkTimes, Village Voice, Monster Job. I stopped working due to having to stay home with my baby. Now I am ready to go back to work and it has not been easy to find a job. Got any advice I would appreciate it.

I would def sign up with a temp agency, like manpower or kelly services, i live in a really small town so i am not sure what companies you have in your area, but i am sure you can land a job thru a temp service!! Good luck!

The best thing for you to do is to write up a resume online and put it out to the public so everyone can see what your past experiences are and go from there! Good Luck! You most likely won't get a job till the first of the year but put it out there now so they know you are there when they are ready to hire!

It seems strange that none are advertised. Go to an employment agency, most do not charge you, employers pay the fee, or try a temporary agency ( I had jobs for a year through a temp agency and 3 companies offered me positions. Also a lot of temp agencies,
have benefits if you work for them consistently.

My advise would be to call around to different placement agencies, for instance where I live we have a placement agency called Workforce and Kelly Services both of which I believe are Nationwide and could help you find a job relatively quick.

here in the uk we have recruitment agencies well known. if you know of some where you live i would try them for either temp/permanent work. if you don't but have access to the internet, i would type in recruitment agencie @ immediate receptionist work, and hopefully something comes up. perhaps a few ads in some business shop windows. eg supermarkets, newsagents etc. maybe someone in that line of work your looking for may see your request for work. the former idea maybe better though. get an up-dated cv ready and copy/fax it to any recruitment agency you happen to locate with a covering letter briefly stating your returning to work after a short period raising your child, but sell yourself that your motivated and a hardworker so they know that you are a serious candidate who wants to return to work. im a parent myself and hope to return to work one day soon. good luck!!

Most cities have a job service. They are there to help people find jobs and employers to find workers. Go get hooked up. Usually you only have to go to their office one time . They usually have you hooked up by phone or web for all your potential jobs.

Good luck .

I would definitely try temporary agency, they are good about finding individuals in that field. Also, I would try these work at home jobs, they are for real.
