I need a list of Major Rock bands of the 80's for a pop culture project for history class. Can anyone help me out?

Guns 'n' Roses, Metallica, Aerosmith (they have been around since forever though!) Def Leppard, Iron Maiden, Poison, Wasp, Twisted Sister,Van Halen, Warrant (hated one of their songs!!!), Megadeth, Vixen, Cinderella, Skid Row,Quireboys, Bon Jovi, Faster Pussycat, Tygertailz, Helloween ,Thunder, Electric Boys, Saraya,Vain, Little Angels, Slaughter, Anthrax, Slayer, Lita Ford , ACDC (timeless classic band whose original singer Bon Scott tragically died) , Dio, Magnum !! Maaan, I loved the 80s!!

When you say 80's rock it's all about the hair and these were some of the biggest bands with the biggest hair. Although some of these artist's started in the 70's and still perform today it was the 80's creedo of sex, drugs and rock and roll that made these some of the biggest.

i do not understand why they have not been reported yet, yet Metallica. Their first 4 albums got here out interior the 80's. Kill 'Em All (80 3) journey The Lightning (80 4) carry close Of Puppets (86) ...And Justice For All (88)

U2, without doubt was the biggest band of the 80's, ie Joshua Tree. everyone else was trying to catch up. Metallica, Van Halen to name a couple more.
