Yes, they do..generally.
If a deaf person knows and is fluent in say, American Sign Language (ASL) then they tend to dream in ASL. If they know and are fluent in both French Sign Language (LSF) or British Sign Language (BSL) then they probably dream in both those languages. If they don't know any sign languages, then they don't dream in sign language.
I am a hearing person fluent in English, Spanish, and ASL and I dream in all three languages. Whether you are deaf or hearing, I think you dream in the languages you know and use the most. Hope this helps!

Some of my profoundly deaf friends say that they can hear when they dream, but some say that they don't. Some say that they dream in sign, some say that they don't. I can hear when I dream, but I was not born deaf (although I'm not deaf now). I also dream in sign sometimes too, but more often than not, I don't.

I went to a class about working with children with special needs when I was still teaching and it was led by a woman who teaches at a school for the deaf and someone asked that question. Her answer was that people who cannot hear most likely dream in pictures just like we do, there's just no sound in them. I'm sure there is signing involved in their dreams just like there's usually talking in mine.

That is a very thoughtful question. I never have thought about that. You know I think that they would because they don't really know our language, I would say they do dream with sign language.
