have you cleaned them yet?? even if you oil them really well, if they are dirty they will stick. Do you greese them or put vasseline on them? DON'T!! it just makes them slower. if you have fixed all of this and they still stick then your valves are bent. this can happen if you set the trumpet down on the side with the 2nd valve slide. it will bend it. if you have ever droped it they can bend. if you don't push the valves down with the tips of your fingers and as straight as possible.. that can bend the valves also.... becareful... trumpets are delicate.

You should take your horn to a music shop... you might need whole new valves.

What you can do is fill your bath tub up with warm water and then take the valves out of the trumpet and the slide valves and stuff and set it in the tub for like an hour so.. you can put a little soap in there if you want to. Then take it out after about 1 hour and dry it off with something lint free such as a paper towel. then put your trumpet back together and oil your valves down real good.. and work the valves in good for a couple of minutes then oil them again and that should do the trick.

i got here across that Dennis Wick valve oil is a techniques extra suitable to any that I even have used. you will detect it on Amazon. If cleansing with dish cleansing soap and heat water does not artwork, alongside with the Dennis Wick oil, I propose which you're taking it to a restore shop. be careful whilst cleansing to no longer get any cork or felt moist. merely dip the surely valve section into the water.

Take you valves out and clean them. Then put a light coat of vaseline on them. I found that to be the bes. My valves hardly ever stuck after that.

Not only you need to oil them but a little grease helps.
Check your springs but most importantly make sure you are pressing down straight on the valves.

Have you checked the pads, and the valves themselves? Sometimes they get a little bent which will cause them to stick.

If you haven't cleaned your valves in a while, I'd try that first and if that doesn't work you may need to take it to your local music store for help.

I agree with the above - clean them first, then oil them up really well. Check for any damage / warping, then make sure they are aligned properly when you put them back in.
