I know some places sell distributors and offer a "Core" of $70 or something along that lines. Is there any place that will simply pay the CORE price if I were to sell them mine that doesn't work even if I didn't purchase at their store etc? Does anyone buy distributors that don't work? Thank you.

I don't know what's wrong with the distributor itself.. all I know is that it doesn't work. How can you tell what is broken inside?

Usually not, but you never know until you ask.
Otherwise, it's the scrap yard. They pay a few cents a pound.
