Neon Genisis Evengaelion, Full Metal Alchemist, Robotech, Ah My Goddess. There are a few "comedy" series out there on the market. I just can't remember the names right now. Sorry.

Ghost in the shell stand alone complex 1st gig starring major Motoko Kusanagi. I'm not even going to say any more than that. If you have seen the first film then you will have some idea but it is not the same as.

Then you should try Full Metal Panic, Eureka Seven and Neon Genesis Evangelion if you haven' t bought them yet. I also heard that
RahXephon was a good mecha anime.

inuyasha is really good. u could also try naruto or Pokemon.if u don't mind watching an anime show that's more on the girlie side, u could try sailor moon. delicatessen, howls moving castle, spirited away, and princess mononoke are all very good anime movies. GL!!!
