It is very easy to find the IP address obtained from the modem.

Open your IE or Firefox browser and type "192.168.1.1" type the numbers not the quotes (this is a default linksys router connection)
type in your password at the prompt. it should not be "admin" you should have changed that to prevent unauthorized use of your router.

When you finally get into the router homepage click "Status"
Here are the IP address your modem is using. as well as the DNS server addresses and the time until the next IP update.

Hope this helps.

Look on the back of the modem, for the model numbers, then Google it, and find the online Manual for that make and model of modem. This will give you your browser's IP user interface...OK
Without knowing this information it's impossible to tell you want to know...

you're gonna have to by pass your router by plugging your computer directly into the modem.

by default ocne you reboot it it should be 192.168.100.1

so in your browser type it up and it'll pop up !

but make you you're in the same subnet ... so give yourself the ip address 192.168.100.2

call them back and ask them to reset your IP address for you. they should be able to handle that.
