Tupac, all hands down!

Tupac Shakur hands down no contest. Not only is his name making millions a year after his death, his rhymes are current even after almost a decade, he is the only rapper I know who could make it outside of being an actor/rapper. He wrote an interesting book of poems that made millions as well. Hell, even Elvis/Kirk Cobain didn't do that unless you compare Graceland/Courtney Love with Pac's legacy.

Jay Z

I know people will say Tupac and Biggie because their dead but as far as current rappers go Hova has had the largest and most consistently excellent collection of songs over the last decade.

2Pac...He was the only one smart enough to write and record enough material that would be able to be released even after his death. He's a lyrical genius and poet.

Tupac reigns supreme. And, no, I didn't say Tupac because he is dead, I just simply love his music.
