Imitation of Life, starring Lana Turner, Sandra Dee, John Gavin and Juanita Moore. Big time tear-jerker. I have the DVD, but I only watch it once every few years because it makes me cry so hard.
It's mostly a depressing movie, but teaches a good lesson.

Titanic
A Walk to Remember
Remember the Titans
they were really good movies and i guess Titanic was kind of depressing knowing what will happen at the end.
