Honestly i'm not sure. It has something to do with you two being in sync with each other's bodies. Have you ever heard if more than one woman are around each other enough then their menstrual cycles will end being around the same time (even if they were no where close).....that's all i can compare it to.
But the man is getting the vibes of the pregnant woman's sickness and symptoms.

Well when a man truely loves ya, he can't help but to feel sorry for you and his body reciprocates that as well. It's called sympathy. It's completely mental. Mine did. My brother even got Stretch marks when My sis-in law was prego. Weird I know.

Oh and by the way screw this guy saying you're ugly when you're "blown up".. How retarded? uughh

and tjtindal kiss my butt, how rude are people anyway?

Sympathy sickness...how sweet. When a man is closely involved with his womans pregnancy he suffers some (but on a diff level) of the same sypmtoms she does.

It's called the Sympathy Syndrome. Men also begin to sleep as much as the pregnant wife as well.

no one really knows but there is a name for it and it does happen. I saw a special on this very subject on the discovery channel right after I had my daughter. I think its has a name but I can't think of it right now...

Because a child makes the relationship no fun anymore. Now it's all serious, there's consequences if you break up, consequences if you come to term or not. Who wants that load of crap?

Preganancy is the single worst news since "owing taxes instead of getting money back at the end of the year."

Congratulations if you're pregnant. Not only have you ruined your relationship, but your man probably can't wait to see how fast he can get out of it.
