I want Dennis Kucinich as he is a man of real integrity, high intelligence, great insight, and common sense. He is a visionary and a man of peace, highly principled and compassionate. We need someone like this as never before. He has been compared to Abe Lincoln, Bobby Kennedy, Gandi, Roosevelt, and Martin Luther King.
I have attended about 15 of his speeches and was highly impressed. I have read many of his writings, I have read over 600 pages of articles on him and he is responsible for me being an activist today as he is other activists in my political circles.
I also agree with him on most of his positions on the issues except for a few of them. He generally has all the right positions.
. If we had a man like this in the presidency and if he was allowed to bring about the changes he champions, the American people would start to have hope again, life eould get better for so many including the least among us and the middle class, and the world would look up to us again as a good example and a shining city on the hill. I cannot even express how much I want this man as president.
However, while he would be one of the best presidents ever (and how nice to go from worst ever to best), I do not believe most Americans will know about him or feel he has a shot..the lack of media attention will be sure of that.
The powers that be will push their picks on us and tell us who is ahead in the race (in their propaganda) and then they will rig the vote to whichever one of their two candidates (one from each party -thier pick for dem and their picfor rep...third parties again will stand no chance. Even if by some miracle Dennis got in, he would never see the presidency, I fear, due to some foul play. He is too dangerous to the wealthy and the status quo. If they really let him actually be president, only would let him do tiny potion of that which he promised..
For dems, it looks like Clinton and Obama...I don't want either but Hillary is better than Barack..
Edwards would be OK and Barbara Boxer I would vote for, but likely I will vote Dennis in the primary and whatever Democrat they select for us in the general election after the primary, but not much will change (except for the worst), unfortunately no matter who gets in..

i am going to Vote for an Ice cream sundae. At least that way it will not be able to make America look like a bunch of dorks.
Seriously though. Not sure yet. If I chose right now I would say Wesley Clark. It might do America some good to get some Ex-Military in the BIG SEAT who understands WAR

Mitt Romney would be my selection. Obama is basically too youthful and Clinton is a turn flopper. Giuliani has kinfolk issues. McCain scares each and every physique with how he helps the Iraq war, so not many human beings could help him. Gore is a hypocrite, as he says he's an environmentalist, yet then he hops right into a private jet, which we could out an unbelieveable quantity of polution and his action picture became basically to make himself extra universal.

I think Barack Obama is the best candidate out there (even if he is unsure if he is running). He has a lack of experience, yet experience , in my opinion, is overrated in presidential politics. However, I do think that being from the Senate will pose a problem for him. The last senator to win the presidential election was JFK in 1964; senators - such as McCain and Clinton - will have trouble defending their long senate records. Barack, in my opinion, is the best candidate out there yet no one knows much about him. He needs to get not only his ideas out there but a PLAN. He also needs to get a little more foreign policy experience...

I'd love to see a Libertarian candidate succeed. I'd like to see the two-party stranglehold on our political system broken and believe a Libertrian would help to shrink the size and scope of government and restore civil liberties.

I would like to see Barack Obama as president in 2008. His passion and caring for people from all walks of life inspires me. He couldn't be a better candidate. Those who say he is too inexperienced are wrong. He is exactly what this country needs. Someone not tarnished from the usual politics in society today. Someone who is not a baby boomer and knows that real issues facing Americans today. America should only be so lucky if Obama runs for president!

Of those Democrats who have the "fire in the belly", Edwards. Progressives with a southern accent have a pretty good winning record (as compared to other stereotypes) too.

Obama. As said slightly above, people accuse his lack of experience. However, look who is in the office now. Bush had "experience", and can't find his way out of a paper bag. If Obama were to win, our country would take a turn for the better. I guarantee it.

Why, I'd vote for ME! I'm the only one who's qualified to run because I take both sides of every issue. I can't help it if my timing is a bit off. Just don't be stupid or you'll wind up in Iran....eh....I meant Iraq.

Barack Obama...he focuses on hope and working hard to get where we want to be. He isn't a doomsayer that points out the negative all the time. He is middle of the road enough that he could make everyone happy...his new book is awesome.
