My Mother just called me at work to ask me how to cook the chicken tonight. She is 44, and I'm 24. Since when did I get the Mother role, and her get the child role?? ARGGHHH..

Better yet, I wanna yank them through the phone and tie it round their necks! My 'honey' has the habit of calling me about once an hour or so. No wonder he's not making sales; he's always on the ##!#$! phone!

You know before I read it was your mother on the phone I was going to type "how did you know I was on the phone with my mother" lmao!!! I dont have the same problem. My mom just talks to much to the point where my husband has to call on the phone for me to say I have another call on the line and I have to go lol, or he makes a doorbell sound like there is someone there and I have to go lol. I do a lot of eye rolling when I am on the phone with her hahahaha. But I am glad I have her :)

Yes, I work in customer service.
And be nice to your mom. She might even be trying to ask you to make you feel more adult and important- I do that with my kids sometimes.
At 24 you should have realized by now that your parents are not all powerful and all knowing. Be glad you can help!
