Of course. When a woman accuses a man of rape and she is just doing it to be spitefull, yes the man has every right to sue. This could ruin the mans life. Also women do not need to cry wolf, because there are too many women that have been legitimately raped and no one would believe her. However I feel that if you are falsely accused of any crime you should be able to sue the person that made the accusations against you

I don't believe there are any restrictions preventing an accused rapist from suing. He can always sue in civil court for money damages. Press charges (or press the DA to press charges) for perjury or something along that line in criminal court.

definite yet maximum fake accusers are judgment data (i.e., no longer worth suing simply by fact they have not have been given any funds). So the guy who grow to be falsely accused will by no skill get lower back all the money he spent protecting himself in court docket. Or his popularity truly. Or all the time and rigidity that he suffered. Or regardless of detention center time he could have accomplished. fake accusers could acquire the comparable sentence that the crime consists of. So in the event that they falsely accuse a guy or woman of against the regulation that consists of 2 a protracted time, they could do 2 a protracted time. no longer that this might ever take place of direction.

they most often do. its degredation of character and there is much law on this in civil court. it is against the law to make up such things so even the cops can sue for money for prosecuting the "accused rapist" and get back money for filing a lost report.

I totally agree with you. If she falsely accused someone of raping her, then she should be charged with filing a false report, and sued for slander and libel.

Definitely. when somebody is accused of a crime, It's not a pleasant experience. if somebody accused them knowing they were innocent they should certainly be held liable.
