dignity and pride, can't live with a dirty conscience

Though dignity and pride are very important, having fun in life is also critical for our mental well being. Some people try to be so funny that they compromise with their dignity and price like a buffoon in a circus. So to answer your question I would say that they are all important but there is always a time and place for each of these three. What is important to me is dignity with pride and fun as well.

My dignity is most important and have you dignity you automatically have pride but not excess pride which will land you in undesirable places. Remember in Greek literature, pride was a fatal flaw.

Dignity allows you to remain at the level you find respectable for yourself in your own eyes. If you sink in your own eyes then you find it difficult to live with yourself. In order to recieve respect and give respect you must have dignity.

If losing your dignity is the price for having fun, then no thanks. Otherwise having fun is also a part of life. It depends on what kind of fun however.

They are all important; but what good is fun it's a fleeting feeling of euphoria- at best. After the fun is over, it's you, I, the person that we have to live with....

"Winning is great- if you don't lose your integrity/dignity in the process."

“Dignity does not consist in possessing honors, but in deserving them.” ~ Aristotle

“Winning is great, sure, but if you are really going to do something in life, the secret is learning how to lose. Nobody goes undefeated all the time. If you can pick up after a crushing defeat, and go on to win again, you are going to be a champion someday.” ~ Wilma Rudolph

I have an ethical consciousness and therefore from an ethical perspective dignity is a most cherished quality by me. One can enjoy life and still maintain his dignity if he has self-control.

Dignity and honor. But I usually have fun doing that anyway, so I don't understand the difference between them.
Oh... you mean going off and doing stupid things while drunk or high and fooling yourself to thinking that it was fun, when you're really trying to hide from a reality you can't stand?
