Okay so my best guy friend is my next door neighbour. He's had a crush on me forever and we're really good friends, but he asks me to be his girlfriend every so often and I always say no because (and I know this sounds cheesy) I don't want to ruin our friendship. It's not awkward around us, and I know he really likes me alot but I have no feelings for him in that way WHATSOEVER. How can I get him to stop asking me out so I don't end up saying yes and ruin our relationship?

♥ I'm going through the exact same thing. my guy friend has liked me for a really long time. we got out of touch for about 2 years, and then we got put in the same class. he immediately started talking to me again. at first i didn't mind him talking to me, but he started to show his feelings for me. I knew he was going to ask me out-- I just got the feeling, and I was dreading it.

we had went out a LONG time ago, but I absolutely had 0 feelings for him left and didn't want a relationship with him other than friendship. one day, when I got to school and was sitting in class. he said, "Abby, will you go out with me?". he sat right in front of me, so he was turned around. I just sat there, with my mouth open...like,'oh my gosh...what just happened?'. then, he said,"I'm guessing that's a no." he was laughing about it, but I know it bothered him, and the only was he could hide it was with laughter.

I felt bad, but I knew I didn't have feelings for him. he asked me out again this year, and I said no once again. I know he likes me a lot, but I don't feel the same way as him.

listen, you're not wrong for saying no if you don't have feelings for this guy. don't worry about accidentally saying yes. follow your heart, cause in the end, it will be what gets you through all these hard decisions. ♥

Tell him that you love him and cherish the friendship. Tell him you want to stay best friends and never want your friendship to end. Just a little hint though don't know if your just not attracted to him but guy friends grow up and turn into studs and then you end up with regret. Make sure you sill not regret it later if you don't go out with him.
