how do you use the headset on call of duty 3 when playing on xbox live?

i have the headset plugged in to the controller, its not on mute, and the voluje is up, but it wont work. i know the head set is fine because i private chat with it

What about it isn't working? Are you talking to other people and they cannot hear you?

To talk in CoD3 you just talk without pushing any buttons and your voice activates the headset.
