Organization, punctuality, able to work under pressure, good communications skills, and an ability to meet deadlines. Also, an ability to keep your mouth shut. You will see things you consider to be inequitable and you simply cannot talk about those in the workplace, or anywhere else for that matter.

A nearly infinite amount of patience for dealing with people who are irate about you screwing up their paycheck.... nothing makes people madder than finding a mistake on their check!
