The law about what?

If you are referring to age of consent, the law varies from state to state, in the U.S. However, I don't think there is any state in which an 18 year old can't consent to "date" an older person (whether 30, 60, 90 or older).

Now, my question to you would be why you, as an 18 year old (female?) would be dating a 30 year old? That makes little sense. You should be dating someone your own age -- certainly under 21. A 30 year old who is dating an 18 year old is most likely immature.

Both of you are of legal age. Nothing by law will happen. But that's a huge age difference, the 18 year old might want more freedom more space where as the 30 year old might want to start a family and settle down. Both need to make sure they have alot in common and make sure they both want the same things in life before coming serious.

It's legal. Because when you turn 18 your considered an adult. So for an 18 year old and a 30 year old to date is perfectly legal. Some people might think it's wierd.

You are both at or above the legal age to date... so legally it's okay. Make sure you have plenty in common how ever... an 18 year old has more growing to do while a 30 year old is pretty settled and focused on where they are at.

That might be a state law question, but I thin it's 18 or younger for about every state. I've never heard of a state making age 19 the age of consent. I would imagine there is nothing legally wrong with it.

As far as I know, all states have 18 as the age where a person is considered an adult. So there are not legal charges that can be made.

There are no such laws. You are both legal. I do however think that 30 is a little old for an eighteen year old. But you can't go to jail for it!!!
