In my opinion Saudia Arabia is the only country in the world where the crime rate is Zero. USA being a one of the most modern states is still oppressing its minorities, the American Negroes for example and practically trying to rule the world.
So how do you define " opressiveness"

i'd rather to live in a peaceful country (SAUDi ARABIA) than in a warlike country (USA).
by the way it is not 10th c society, since it enjoys the luxury of technology as much as u do in usa
don't make blind assumptions about aplace without having an experience there
people why can't u just live together despite individual differences

United Statesian democracy would certainly appeal to the people in this forum.

Would you get the same response to a question such as this in Saudi Arabia?

Depends on who you ask, now doesn't it? Being from America I vote USA.
I'd advise you to ask a bit more in detail next time.

Truth be told - I'd rather live far away from everyone with my family.

I love America, but I'd love to seclude myself with my family and live in peace without worrying about terrorists, those who steal, kidnappings, etc.

I wouldnt like to live way back in time...

I like our modern conviences, clean water etc.

I think both choices you gave us are very immoral in different ways!

I don't see any particular difference. Or Latin America. And I've been to at least two and know the other at close quarters.
