Get a warm iron, and an old dishtowel or terry towel. Lay the towel over the wax, and put the warm iron on it. It will melt the wax and make it get absorbed onto the towel.

Try ice.
Another way is to warm an iron, put a paper bag on the wax spot and hold the iron on the bag. The paper will absorb the wax as it melts.
DO NOT put any part of the iron directly on the leather.

the only way is to use an iron and a few paper towels, or a terry cloth. keep the iron off the leather and put the towel( paper or cloth) on the wax. check it in short increments of exposed time to the heat. you should know that the heat could change the color of the leather as well.

put a cold ice pack on it and let it harden - it should chip off....if it is autowax - this wont work. you could probably consult a local leather expert in your area and have them look at it to give you a better clue...

It all depends on what type of wax. If it hardens well, then apply something cold to it. It'll be easier to remove.

Good luck.

you don't, not very well anyway. just start scratching at it gently, be sure not to abraise the leather.
