hello, does perfume go off?

how long will a sealed gift set last for will it go off if i bought it and stored it for next christmas.

I've never heard of perfume going 'off', I've had perfumes that smell just fine even after sitting on my dresser for six years.

Unless u wash it for a number of times i don't think it will go offff...........LOL
