I am throwing a New Years Eve Party at my house this year for about 30 people. We are all drinkers, although there will be alot of diffent types of people there. Any ideas?

Having the right music is the most important thing for any party. Most people will simply want to talk and move around, but have plenty of chairs grouped in different areas.
Turn the music fairly loud, but not blasting out.
Please make the drinks very light alcohol as the night gets closer to midnight. Maybe switch to non-alcohol during the last hour. Remember, the host of a party is held responsible if there is an accident afterwards.
