Yes and that's why I always vote for whichever party is currently sane (moderate; I voted democrat in November).
Thank god neither the hardcore conservatives or liberals will ever have complete power, the mentally stable moderate voters are the ones that win elections. If you don't appeal to them, you lose.

Actually Conservatives help prevent human suffering. Conservatives push for the best economy possible. They push to allow all working men and women to keep their own earnings. Conservatives push for all people to be independent and self relent. Conservatives give more in donations than do Liberals. Liberals are all talk and no donate. Unless its with somebody Else's money!

Rich neocons, according to CNN, is mostly the religious right. Generally, religious people donate x amount of their income to charities.
Unbathed, stoned hippies cry about human suffering, even protest it when the weather is good, but usually don't really do anything about it.

I think its the opposite. Liberals tend to be very mean to people, especially conservatives, while conservatives tend to stay to themselves until aggrivated by liberals.
