i put him in there he does not even come close to reaching the floor he just hangs there and looks at the toys do you think its ok for him to play in there it does not seem to bother him and he doesnt cry he just laughs but is too small

Most walkers have height adjustments to lower and higher. I put my son in his exercauser at about 2/1/2 months. He had excellent neck control and would reach for all the objects. I just propped blankets around him to fill in the space. If your chiild can hold his head up and isn't slumped over on the toys, he is fine. Just make sure you take him out before he gets so tired of holding his head up and he is just laying in there.

My son is 4 months old and he loves him Jumperoo. He doesn't really jump in it, he just looks at the lights and the toys and sort of moves from side to side. He loves being in there but only for about 10 minutes at a time and then he gets tired. If your son seems to enjoy it then let him play.

At that age, I would just keep him on the ground with some toys... it'll encourage him to use his arms and legs to get around and get what he wants and help develop some of the muscles...it's okay to let him play in there but a toy designed more for his age might be a little better.

If he is happy and using it as an exersaucer, I would let him. 4 months is their recommendation based on how well most babies hold themselves up and want to look at toys. He should be fine as long as he isn't falling over getting his face buried in the fabric.
His feet don't need to touch the floor. Babies feet are not on anything when they are in a jumper, a forward or rear carrier, or bouncer. They are similarly supported when you hold them on your hip. They are not yet capable of supporting themselves on their feet yet anyway, so even if they could touch, they would hang for the majority of the time anyway.

His feet should touch the floor. If you do put him in there don't keep him in for long periods of time.

Its ok for him to play in there, I used to push my daughter around when she wasn't able to touch the floor and she loved it.

there is nothing wrong with leaving him in it,just make sure nothing is by his neck../
