many are but some major ones are the groin and hamstring. i know this because i have pulled both of these muscles before and it hurt bad enough that i couldnt even kick the ball so im assuming theyre involved

It depends on the pass. You'll use different muscle groups in each, whether it be a long driven ball, a push pass, a lofted pass, or a clever back pass.
Regardless, you should stretch and strengthen the large muscle groups in the legs so that you have good balance and as a method to withstand injuries.

Primarily your quads and hip flexors & extensors on your kicking leg & calves and hamstrings on planted leg. As far as bones, any of the foot & ankle bones

Your third leg. LOL, nah just kidding. Thigh, hams, calves. All 3 work to build leg strength for power and speed for running up & down the field.
